The Sonic the Hedgehog franchise continues with a forthcoming multiplayer game. Available exclusively on mobile, Sonic Rumble is a battle royale-style challenge to collect as many rings as possible and prove themselves the fastest.

It’s also a multiplayer title, allowing up to 32 individuals to partake in the action. Players will be able to customize their own figure or compete as familiar faces from the Sonic the Hedgehog world.

Angry Birds maker Rovio is developing the game as its first release with Sega. It appears that Sonic Rumble will be similar to Epic GamesFall Guys, which debuted in 2020 and also allows for up to 32 players.

While the game isn’t slated to release until the winter, those interested can apply to be beta testers now. It’ll be playable on both iOS and Android and users can register to beta test up until Sunday, May 19.
