In an industry often dominated by established fashion houses and familiar faces, Braam Fashion Week continues to rewrite the script by placing emerging designers and models at the heart of the runway.

Returning with its Autumn/Winter 2026 (AW26) Runway Showcase on Saturday, 1 August 2026, Braam Fashion Week has cemented itself as South Africa’s premier platform dedicated exclusively to discovering, developing and celebrating the country’s next wave of fashion talent.

More than just a runway event, Braam Fashion Week has evolved into a cultural movement—bridging fashion, youth culture and creative entrepreneurship. The platform provides aspiring designers with the opportunity to unveil their collections before industry leaders, buyers, media, stylists and tastemakers, while giving emerging models invaluable experience on a professional runway.

The AW26 showcase promises a bold celebration of contemporary African fashion, spotlighting innovative craftsmanship, fearless silhouettes and fresh design perspectives that reflect the creativity shaping South Africa’s fashion future. Expect collections that fuse individuality with cultural storytelling, proving that the country’s next generation is ready to make its mark.

This year’s edition is also set to raise the bar, with headline designers, special guests, creative collaborators and official brand partners to be unveiled across Braam Fashion Week’s digital platforms in the lead-up to the showcase. The expanded programme signals the event’s continued growth as one of the country’s most exciting independent fashion platforms.

With only 250 seats available, fashion enthusiasts will have an exclusive front-row opportunity to witness tomorrow’s stars before they become household names. General admission tickets are available for R200.

“Braam Fashion Week has never been about producing another fashion show. It has always been about creating a platform where emerging talent is seen, discovered and celebrated,” says Phetogo Grenville Pule, Co-Founder of Braam Fashion Week.

“While we’re proud to be South Africa’s only runway dedicated exclusively to emerging designers and models, our vision extends far beyond that. We want to build an internationally recognised platform that exports South African creativity to the world, creating opportunities for our designers and models to collaborate and compete on the global stage. This is only the beginning.”

As South Africa’s creative economy continues to flourish, Braam Fashion Week remains a vital launchpad for the designers, models and visionaries who will shape the future of African fashion—one runway at a time.
