A Newjeans and Hiroshi Fujiwara Clothing Collaboration Is on Its Way

NewJeans has dropped visuals for their upcoming Japanese single Supernatural. Shot in Japan, the pictures not only offer a first look into the mood and setting of their upcoming release, but also tease their apparel collaboration with Japanese streetwear icon, Hiroshi Fujiwara.

As seen on the girls in the promotional visuals, each member sports a streetwear-coded ensemble, comprised of loose T-shirts, baggy jeans, Timberland boots, bucket hats and caps. From the pictures, the oversized T-shirts appear to be the main collaborative product as it’s emblazoned with co-branded graphics and letterings.

This isn’t the first time for NewJeans to work with the godfather of streetwear. Back in January, Hiroshi Fujiwara photographed NewJeans’ Hanni for the cover of W Korea. Meanwhile, the girl group also recently worked with another renowned Japanese figure: Takashi Murakami. In a new teaser for NewJean’s “Right Now” music video, Murakami puts his spin on their Powerpuff Girls aesthetic, transforming the girls into his signature cutesy style.

NewJeans’ Supernatural single is set to release on June 21. At the time of writing, further details regarding the   Hiroshi Fujiwara collaboration have yet to be confirmed.
