Afro-fusion singer, songwriter and composer Skyy ZNO has officially unveiled his debut album, ExitUs. The seven-track project is a powerful exploration of ancestry, resilience, belonging and unity, seamlessly blending sounds from across the African diaspora into one cohesive body of work.

Crossing oceans, cultures and generations, ExitUs fuses West African Afrobeats, American soul, Cuban salsa, Dominican dembow and Jamaican reggae, creating a genre-defying sonic experience that reflects the shared heritage of Africans, Caribbeans and African Americans.

Co-produced by nine-time GRAMMY Award-winning producer Joe Nicolo (Lauryn Hill, Nas, Billy Joel) alongside Skyy ZNO, the album unfolds as a continuous narrative, documenting the artist’s journey of survival and self-discovery. Structured across seven acts—JADE (ExitUs), A Little Love, Coming Home, Pressure, B O, Ascend and the closing chapter—the project invites listeners into an immersive musical story.

Describing the album as “one world, one rhythm,” Skyy ZNO positions ExitUs as more than a collection of songs. It’s a celebration of the African diaspora’s interconnected history, transcending borders, languages and identities through music. Each track opens with a cinematic interlude, while his emotive delivery and fearless creativity evoke comparisons to artists like Juice WRLD, The Weeknd and Prince.

The album follows the success of his previous singles Carol of the Bells, Ledge and Ándale, which have collectively amassed more than 300,000 streams across digital platforms. With ExitUs, Skyy ZNO expands that momentum into a fully realised artistic statement.

The project has also earned recognition beyond the music industry. Queen Diambi Kabatusuila Tshiyoyo Muata of the Democratic Republic of the Congo has publicly endorsed ExitUs, praising it as a project that honours and traces the rich musical legacy of the African diaspora.
