Milk + Cookies is thrilled to unveil Majid Jordan alongside Gunna for Milk + Cookies Festival’s return to South Africa. Known for their genre-blending R&B sound and global cultural influence, Majid Jordan represent the perfect bridge between SA’s soulful musical roots and today’s boundary-pushing sound. Their inclusion speaks directly to Milk + Cookies’ mission: uniting international excellence with South Africa’s unstoppable creative energy – and giving fans a world-class experience that still feels deeply local.

After a sold-out 2025 debut headlined by Kaytranada that drew 20 000 fans, Milk + Cookies Music Week returns bigger than ever from 19 December 2025 to 13 January 2026, determined to honour SA’s heritage, uplift its communities, and showcase its talent on the world stage.

THE MOVE MZANSI STAGE – POWERED BY EXTREME

Milk + Cookies is proud to welcome Extreme back for a second year as an official festival partner, returning with an even bigger commitment to championing South Africa’s youth culture. This year marks the debut of the Move Mzansi Stage – Powered by Extreme, a newly introduced platform dedicated to movement-led sounds and the next generation of homegrown talent.

The Move Mzansi Stage spotlights South Africa’s movement-driven youth culture – from Amapiano and Deep House to Electronic and Dance. Powered by Extreme, it’s a space for discovery, elevating the rising wave of DJs, dancers and creators driving the country’s cultural pulse.

Extreme is built on the belief that the power of positive energy, movement, and bold self expression unlock potential. As a brand rooted in pushing limits and celebrating the power of youth culture, Extreme champions the creators who move SA forward –  the dancers sparking new waves, the DJs blending genres, and the innovators living boldly on their own terms.

This year’s Milk + Cookies Festival delivers its most ambitious line-up yet, uniting global heavyweights with South Africa’s finest talent across two cities. From chart-topping headliners to movement-led rising stars on the new Move Mzansi Stage – Powered by Extreme, the 2026 edition celebrates the full spectrum of SA’s creative energy.
