Kea014 is a new artist who has recently come onto my radar, and I felt it fitting to share the emerging talent with our beloved HYPE audience. Kea014 is gearing up to release a mixtape titled S4LEM, and in the build-up to the mixtape, Kea014 has released three singles. 

The first song that was released is titled ‘BAD TO DA BONE!’. The single has a rather brief runtime of 2 minutes 9 seconds, however, that is part of the appeal of the song. The single features a soft spoken Kea014 performing atop an eerie type of production. What stood out the most from this single was her ability to deliver a palatable listen through her laid-back flow, catering to the nature of the production. 

The second single that was released is titled ‘FASHION!’ and features Money Badoo. The single picks up where ‘BAD TO DA BONE!’ left off with an equally dark sound. In comparison to ‘BAD TO DA BONE!’, the single sees her explore her repertoire by entering a bag that is closer to rapping rather than pure melodies. 

The latest single that was released is titled  ‘BIDNIZ!’, featuring Bantu Nots. The single carries a significantly more aggressive production in comparison to the previous two releases. The song sees Bantu Nots and Kea014 take turns going back and forth between each other, with each of them bringing a unique energy to the single. 

Overall, these 3 singles show us 3 different sounds from Kea014 and S4LEM is shaping up to be a pretty intriguing listen. Listen the lastes single, ‘BIDNIZ!’, below.
