South Africa’s flag is flying high once again on the global stage! If you’re tapped into the culture, you’ll recognize the name SPeeKa—and now, his work is earning international acclaim.
The music video for “Imizamo” (ft. Papa Koli & Firdy)—shot, edited, and directed by SPeeKa—has been nominated for Best Hip-Hop Video at the 2nd Annual Las Vegas Music Video Awards (USA). Selected among entries from 15 countries, the video was shot in Protea Glen and Protea North, Soweto, and officially released on November 4, 2024.
“Imizamo” is taken from SPeeKa’s latest album, “Organized Grime 2,” which dropped in May 2024.
