The Basketball Africa League is turning up the heat both on and off the court as it unveils a stacked entertainment lineup for the 2026 Kalahari Conference. Set to take over SunBet Arena from March 27 to April 5, the group phase promises a fusion of elite basketball and top-tier African culture.

Tickets for the 2026 BAL Kalahari Conference are live now on Ticketmaster — and trust, this is more than just hoops, it’s a full-on experience.  Kicking things off in style, Young Stunna will headline the Opening Ceremony on Friday, March 27, setting the tone for a high-energy tournament. Across the week, fans can expect a dynamic mix of music, dance, and performance art lighting up halftime moments.

The lineup reads like a cultural playlist: CIZA brings smooth vibes on Sunday, March 29, while Usimamane takes over Tuesday, March 31. Ghana’s own Smallgod pulls up on April 1, followed by Scotts Maphuma on April 3. The energy keeps rising with Kamo Mphela bringing her signature amapiano flair on April 4, before Nasty C shuts it down on the final day, April 5.

Beyond the music, Everywhen Experiences will deliver next-level visual performances throughout the tournament — from aerial hammock and acrobatic showcases to unicycle stunts and trampoline acts — making every halftime feel like its own spectacle.

And it doesn’t stop there. The BAL Fan Zone at SunBet Arena is set to be a whole vibe on its own, packed with official merchandise, food and drink spots, DJ sets, and interactive lifestyle experiences that keep the culture alive from tip-off to the final buzzer.

A joint effort between the International Basketball Federation and NBA Africa, the BAL continues to grow as a premier platform for African basketball, bringing together 12 top teams from across the continent. After Pretoria, the action heads to Morocco for the Sahara Conference (April 24 – May 3), before the top eight teams advance to the playoffs in Kigali from May 22–31.

From the hardwood to the stage, the BAL is once again proving that sport and culture move as one — and Pretoria is about to feel all of it.
