Montreux Jazz Festival Franschhoek (MJFSA), presented by Nedbank, has announced additional artists for its 27–29 March 2026 edition in Franschhoek. As the first African edition of the renowned Montreux Jazz Festival, the event will unfold across two main venues: The Arches Main Stage and the more intimate Jazz Village.

The Arches Main Stage will feature a mix of international and local talent, including Wet Wet Wet, Róisín Murphy, Thandiswa Mazwai, Ezra Collective and Robert Glasper, who will perform with special guest Bilal. South African acts such as The Kesivan amaBig Band Experience and The Ploemies and Friends will also take to the stage, highlighting the country’s strong jazz and contemporary music presence.

At the Jazz Village, audiences can expect more intimate performances from artists including Stacey Kent, Madala Kunene & Sibusisle Xaba, and a special tribute to Miles Davis featuring Eddie Henderson, Javon Jackson, Donald Harrison, George Colligan, Buster Williams and Lenny White. The programme reflects a balance between honouring jazz heritage and spotlighting artists shaping its future.

The festival will conclude on Sunday, 29 March, with a “Sunday Slowdown” along Huguenot Street, offering free live music activations, food vendors and wine experiences across the town. Further programme details and ticket information are available on the festival’s official platforms.
