Converse is proud to announce its return to South Africa’s premier skating competition, the Street Lines Skate Tournament, set to take place on 27 September 2025 at the iconic Thrashers Skatepark in Pretoria.

This marks Converse’s second year partnering with Street Lines, following a highly successful 2024 debut that injected fresh energy into the event and cemented the brand’s role in the tournament’s growth. For 2025, skaters and fans can expect an exciting Converse-inspired obstacle course, adding a unique twist to the competition. Attendees will also have the chance to try out the Converse Cons range, with exclusive on-site opportunities to purchase their favorite styles.

With decades of influence on global skate culture and footwear design, Converse continues to shape the sport through its Pro Skate line and skate-driven innovations. Locally, Converse has been a strong supporter of the scene, previously backing the UltX skate competition for several years, highlighting its consistent investment in athlete development and competitive platforms.
