South African DJ & Hip Hop Powerhouse Coco Brown Returns with Vulnerable Third Single, ‘Pride For You’. 

Following the success of her previous hit, acclaimed South African DJ and artist Coco Brown unveils her highly anticipated third single, ‘Pride For You’, set for release on all major digital platforms on Friday, 5 September 2025. 

This new track sees Coco Brown assemble an indisputable supergroup of South African hip hop talent. ‘Pride For You’ features exhilarating verses from heavyweights Touchline, Maggz, Sizwe Alakine, and Sani Music, seamlessly intertwined together over a smooth, melodic beat produced by the acclaimed Tony World Wide.

Departing from the high-energy vibe of her previous single ‘Switchin’ (ft. Nomfundo Yekani & Ferlando Young), ‘Pride For You’ explores a more South African-sounding, sentimental and vulnerable side of love. The record is a touching Afrobeat-infused hip hop ballad that narrates the story of two people in love but struggling to see eye-to-eye, a relatable tale of heartache and pride.

“This song is for anyone who’s ever loved someone but couldn’t make it work,” says Coco Brown. “It’s about that painful space between holding on and letting go, and pride once again coming in between. I wanted to create something catchy, nostalgic, and melodic that still hits you right in the heart. Working with such incredible artists allowed us to tell this story from different perspectives, and Tony World Wide’s production captured the exact feeling I envisioned.”
