Exploration and experimentation are two things that I admire most in an artist. The process of deviating from what is safe and predictable is a courageous choice as the artist enters the world of the unknown. With so much emphasis on having a palatable sound in a dance first nation, I salute the artists who dare to try something different. When I pressed play on ‘Get Enough’ by Lucasraps and Ca$h Khali, I didn’t expect to hear a borderline pop anthem…and a damn good one at that. 

“Get Enough” sees Lucasraps and Ca$h Khali introduce us to a whole new groove which is in stark contrast to what we have come to expect, and it is a welcomed change. The production is lead by a beautiful string harmony that is layered with various bass lines and synths to complete the alt pop tune. For those who are familiar with the FIFA franchise, now called EAFC, you will understand what I mean when I say that a song like “Get Enough” would be perfectly suited for the game.
