This past weekend, the streets of Johannesburg felt just a little quieter because the real party was tucked away in a gorgeous private residence where Casamigos South Africa hosted its first-ever Joburg experience: House of Friends.
Having made its Cape Town debut last festive season, the tequila brand brought its signature laid–back luxury and cool energy to the City of Gold and babes, it did not disappoint.

With a killer DJ lineup that took us from groovy house to Afrotech and amapiano, the energy swirled between “chill” and “one-more-song” by the end of the night. Don’t even get us started on the bar because Casamigos Palomas and Margaritas were flowing like Joburg gossip.

Theo Zulu, Senior Brand Manager: Tequila – Don Julio & Casamigos, Diageo, was glowing with excitement. Speaking to Hype, he shared:
