The song sees Ayanda Jiya talk us through her thinking about a lover. As the title suggests, the song is about letting go of an unrequited lover. Despite Ayanda Jiya’s tremendous vocal ability, she opted for a more soft spoken approach to the song. Her delivery fits perfectly with the nature of the downtempo production and honestly, her vocals feel like the sort of hug you need from a loved one following a breakup. Listen to “Let You Go” below.
