I think as women, we all strive so hard to be successful—to have the perfect job, the perfect life—but all of this still isn’t enough to protect us from the hardships and expectations of being a woman,” Nanette explains.
2024 was a breakout year for Nanette with the release of her debut EP, ‘The Waiting Room’, which garnered critical acclaim and solidified her place in the South African R&B scene, earning her a loyal fanbase affectionately known as The Nesties. “I’m so grateful for the love and support from The Nesties, and I can’t wait to share more of my journey with them this year.
