saveHXPE is an artist that I have had on my radar for a minute now. I still remember hearing music for the first time. It reminded me of early Odd Future days. Since then, I have been tapped into the burgeoning artist’s career. Recently, he released a music video for his single, “REAL”. Like his overall aesthetic, the music video is striking and dark in its presentation. The music video features a sombre saveHXPE performing the song in a long black coat, amongst other outfits and scenes. The most visually striking moment in the video comes when there are two lines of men and women besides each other. The scene gives off a eery feeling and got me really intrigued about the meaning of the scene. I guess that’s a question I should ask saveHXPE the day I have the pleasure of meeting him.
