After a decade of crafting music and collaborating with emerging producers, engineers, songwriters, and artists, Thabang Mashegwane—better known as Medicine Man—is finally stepping into the spotlight with his debut single, “Believe In,” featuring Imani Basquiat and Keeme. This electrifying track masterfully fuses elements of hip-hop, alternative pop, and R&B, showcasing Medicine Man’s dynamic approach to sound.

“I grew up in a household filled with music lovers,” he shares. “As a producer, I’m influenced by a variety of genres, from soul and house to hip-hop, R&B, kwaito, and jazz. When it comes to my sound, I don’t let genres confine or limit my creativity. I wouldn’t classify my music under a specific genre because I create on a blank canvas. I make what feels good and sounds good to my ears.”

“Believe In” is more than just a song—it’s a statement about faith and determination. It celebrates the audacity to dream big and believe in something greater, whether it’s love or the pursuit of a career. “You’re only delusional until you achieve or acquire it,” Medicine Man emphasizes.
