As part of its ongoing partnership with MoneyGram Haas F1 Team, Palm Angels continues to immerse itself in the world of motoracing with a long line-up of dedicated F1 events and collection drops scheduled at this season’s Formula 1 races.
Last weekend, the brand headed to Miami Grand Prix to reveal two new projects as part of its Racing Collection with MoneyGram Haas F1 Team. For the first of the two, Palm Angels unveiled the Miami T-Shirt, a segment from its wider capsule of 13 collectible T-shirts dedicated to the most iconic races of the Formula 1 Championship. Inspired by the ‘80s retro flair made famous in the east coast city, the T-shirt features the MoneyGram Haas F1 Team logo in pink as well as the Palm Angels logo and blurred PA Monogram in turquoise on either side, with the date and place of the race.
The second project to drop on race day weekend was an exclusive collaboration with historical motorsport outfitters Alpinestars. Coming together for the first time, the brands crafted a special-edition racing jacket that reimagines the classic pilot silhouette with a minimalist cut and combination of durable, performance materials. Bringing a statement Palm Angels touch to the jacket, the leather surface is decorated with the brand’s logo and palm tree motifs in striking red tone, which can be customized further at pre-order.
With Miami being home to MoneyGram Haas F1 Team, Palm Angels’ partner, the brand took over its paddock and garage to host a range of activations and events over the race day weekend. Setting the scene for the occasion, the space was transformed with co-branded graphics gracing the walls of the private paddock and central corridors leading out to the neighboring black palm trees. Over the three days, the brand welcomed guests to explore its new capsule pieces and limited-edition garments within the adrenaline-filled racing arena.
