Netflix Debuts Trailer, Release Date of ‘That ’90s Show’ Season 2

The official trailer and release date of That ’90s Show season two — Netflix‘s spinoff of the popular That ’70s Show — has been revealed.

Season two will be split into two parts, with the first premiering on June 27 and the following on October 24. It will see Leia Forman (Callie Haverda), the daughter of Eric and Donna, return to her grandparents’ in Point Place for another summer. “Leia and Jay are excited to be together again after nine months of long distance. But she’s on edge since Jay still doesn’t know she almost kissed Nate. Nate is concerned that his girlfriend, Nikki, doesn’t know either. How long can they keep this secret? Turns out, not long at all,” the synopsis reads. “And when the truth finally comes out, relationships are threatened, friendships are at stake, and the summer is on the verge of ending before it even gets started.”

Returning as the main cast are Haverda, Kurtwood Smith, Debra Jo Rupp, Ashley Aufderheide, Mace Coronel, Maxwell Acee Donovan, Reyn Doi and Sam Morelos. Don Stark, Laura Prepon and Andrea Anders will also be back as Donna’s father Bob Pinciotti, Donna and Fez’s girlfriend, Sherri, respectively. Another familiar face from That ’70s Show can be expected in the form of Tommy Chong, who played Leo on the original show, while Will Forte, Seth Green, Lisa Loeb, Carmen Electra, Wayne Knight, Kevin Smith, Jason Mewes, Matt Rife and Kadeem Hardison will make guest appearances.
