Ahead of Hypebeast Flea New York on May 18 and 19, Hypebeast is spotlighting each of the event’s more than 30 vendors by giving an overview of their practice, their inspirations, and what they plan to bring to the event. Hypebeast Flea New York is free to attend — RSVP HERE

Based in Brooklyn, JUMO is a line of ready-made sparkling Korean soju cocktails, with a name drawn from Korean history — during the ancient Joseon dynasty, female bar owners of traditional pubs were called “jumo” (주모). JUMO’s products are craft-distilled and triple-filtered, with flavors designed to enhance the natural taste of the soju instead of concealing it.

Explain your brand to people who may not know you yet.

JUMO is a line of premium canned cocktails made with soju and Korean flavors. Our three cocktails, “Cucumber, Asian Pear, Perilla Leaf,” “Mango, Yuja, Citrus Mint,” and “Peach, Lychee, Rose,” are made with craft-distilled soju made in NY, real juices, pure botanicals, have no added sugar or artificial ingredients, and are 8% ABV. JUMO’s mission is to make soju more accessible and to share about Korean culture and traditions through our drinks. JUMO is based in Brooklyn and led by its Korean female founder.

Everything you need is right in front of you and if you can’t find it, the people and community will help you. Anything is possible at any time in NYC.

What have you got planned at Hypebeast Flea?

We will be sampling all three cocktails and doing some giveaways of our cans and merch.

What other vendors are you looking forward to checking out at Hypebeast Flea?

My first stops will be Extra Vitamins for the tees and photodom. for the cameras. Planning to check out all and make new friends!
