Actor Son Suk-Ku Is Burberry’s Latest Ambassador

Burberry has a new addition to its family of ambassadors. South Korean actor Son Suk-ku has officially signed on as an ambassador of the British brand.

Son began acting in the early 2010s and rose to prominence for his role in the 2018 romantic comedy Matrimonial Chaos. He went on to land a supporting role in the hit political thriller, Designated Survivor: 60 Days.

In 2021, he played Captain Im Ji-sup in D.P., a Netflix action show about a league of Korean military police focused on catching and punishing deserters. That same year, Son starred in the romance Nothing Serious and made his directorial debut with an episode of Unframed.

Son particularly found critical acclaim for his role as an alcoholic in the 2022 drama My Liberation Notes. He also starred in the crime flick The Roundup, a history-making project that wound up becoming South Korea’s highest-grossing film of 2022.

“I’ve long admired Burberry, so it’s a big honor to become Burberry’s ambassador. I look forward to my future journey with Burberry.

Son joins a roster of South Korean Burberry ambassadors, which also includes soccer player Son Heung-Min and actress Jun Ji-Hyun.
