Rolls-Royce Cullinan Evolves with Black Badge Series II Iteration

Rolls-Royce has introduced the new Black Badge Cullinan Series II, showcasing an evolution in luxury automotive design and performance. This latest iteration caters to a select group of clientele who prioritize bold self-expression and innovative technology.

While considerably more low-key in contrast to the interior, the exterior of the Black Badge Cullinan Series II does feature an aggressive front end with an enlarged air intake and the iconic Pantheon grille, now illuminated for added presence. The entire vehicle boasts a monochrome palette, with all exterior details including the Spirit of Ecstasy figurine finished in black, enhancing its appearance.

Notably, the Series II debuts 23-inch wheels — a first for Black Badge vehicles. These wheels are designed with an intricate interplay of polished, painted and recessed surfaces, showcasing the model’s sophisticated engineering.

Inside, the Black Badge Cullinan Series II pushes boundaries with its advanced materials and craftsmanship. The cabin is adorned with Technical Carbon, which undergoes a meticulous process to achieve a three-dimensional effect and is complemented by the new Duality Twill textile. This fabric, inspired by the bamboo groves near Sir Henry Royce’s former winter home, adds a unique touch with up to 2.2 million stitches and 11 miles of thread. It’s also worth noting that the perforated seat pattern, inspired by clouds over the Home of Rolls-Royce, comprises up to 107,000 individual perforations.

Performance-wise, the vehicle retains its formidable twin-turbo 6.75L V12 engine, delivering 600 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque. Enhanced driving dynamics are supported by an adaptive transmission and throttle system for a responsive and exhilarating driving experience.

“Black Badge strongly appeals to a distinct group of clients who seek a more visceral interpretation of the Rolls-Royce experience. In its engineering, technology, materials, and design, Black Badge Cullinan Series II satisfies these clients’ keen appetite for innovation and new modes of self-expression. Cullinan’s darker alter ego has always asserted its own unique place in our product portfolio; I’m certain that this new incarnation will build on its predecessor’s success,” shared Chris Brownridge, the Chief Executive of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

Details on pricing and availability have yet to be shared at the time of writing, though we expect to hear more from the automaker soon.
